A cherished Sussex County family farm where beautiful harvests, animals, flowers, and community generosity come together. Our connection through Unity of Sussex County has made the relationship especially meaningful, bringing farm-grown abundance directly to our Sunday community table.
The Spirit Behind the Food
Our connection with Ideal Farm and Garden began through something very close to our hearts: community.
We came to know Jan through Unity of Sussex County, where she and my wife, Jennifer, sing together in the choir. Jan also serves as vice president of the Board of Trustees, where I have the pleasure of serving alongside her.
Through that friendship, we became connected to the wonderful family farming business that Jan and her husband have built in Sussex County.
Seasonal vegetables, fruits and other produce from Ideal Farm, including food generously shared with the Unity of Sussex County community.
The farm and garden centre also offers flowers, baked goods, garden products and seasonal experiences. Not every store item is grown on the farm, and offerings change with the season.
Family farming, dedication to animals and the land, friendship through Unity, and harvests shared generously—nourishing community gatherings that can include around 50 people.
